The how questions and the why questions come my way often when people in my surrounding that know my life learn that I ALSO Coach…by choice…and like it AND that I get my workouts in 6 days a week.
“How in the world do you find the time”…”I don’t know how you do it”…”I’m so busy. I can’t even imagine doing half of that”…the list goes on and on.
So, here’s the thing. Thanks to the flexibility Coaching has given me, I was able to take the time to find a full time job I thoroughly enjoy that also happens to be 10 min away from home. My son goes to daycare minutes from my house. My husband works about 6 min away from home. My littlest stays with my parents while I’m at work and they live about 8 min from home (2 min from the office)….PLUS, and this is the kicker, that “coaching gig” I LOVE to do is done wherever my phone and/or laptop are. All I need is a phone or laptop, an internet connection and that’s it.
While I work on my own fitness journey I get to help others on theirs. What a privilege. If you know me you know that I can talk about health and fitness for hours so to me it just seemed natural to get into this and, of course, my competitive brain and need for growth has me pushing hard this year to change more lives and build something great here.
Because I can do this on my time, when I can and wherever I happen to be it’s extremely doable. Am I busy? Of course. VERY busy, to be honest, but in a great way doing something I adore and feeling so incredibly purposeful.
This crazy decision I took back on Christmas eve 2017 turned out to be one that, ultimately, changed my life. At that time I had no clue, of course. But, thankfully, being someone to see value in investing in my health, decided to try something outside my comfort zone and, man, did that ever pay off.
Have you ever gone to a movie that you ended up absolutely adoring and told everyone about it. Everyone under the sun that would hear you. Or, how about a great concert, event or maybe an incredible vacation. You’ll rave about it and recommend that everyone goes. THAT is part of what I do. When I take to Instagram or Facebook to post about something life changing, a new program launch or maybe just mom life combined with this Coaching thing I’m doing I’m speaking my mind. I don’t often have my posts planned out (though I SHOULD start planning some of it out for better content, maybe). I post a picture I took that day and say it like it is. The good, bad and ugly. AND I invite everyone to join me. To take that leap that I took. To get outside their confort zones.
The reality, although I LOVE this and it really doesn’t feel like work, this Mama is working hard. Financials not being my driver, I want to build something big that’s mine. A team of clients and Coaches that I mentor. It simply feels amazing and I’m so proud.
Team Rockstar Nation is growing! It is! AND I couldn’t be happier. I may not be a veteran at this yet but I do know something. Big things are happening in 2019. These big things get me excited for what’s next. These things get me to push a little harder; to be a little better.
Every life I help change changes MY life. It not only gives me the fuzzies but it also makes me grow internally to be a better human!
To do this you do not have to be a fitness expert. You don’t have to quit your job. You may even love your job. You don’t have to get in it for the extra money. And you don’t have to be at your goal weight. You just have to want it bad enough and are willing to work for it.
I’m always looking for driven women to join my community whether as a client or a person that wants to be mentored to be a Coach…love connecting with people.
SO, to that balancing act I have to do in my day to day….I wouldn’t have it any other way!
